Why Optima.

The story behind it, and how it stacks up against the apps it replaces.

A note from the founder

The paradox of modern productivity is that the tools meant to focus us are usually the ones scattering our attention. I was tired of fragmenting my workflow across six different apps for tasks, habits and time blocking — and the best ones were hidden behind steep paywalls I couldn't justify as a student.

So I built the thing I wanted myself. I'm not a big company or a high-end dev team — just a student who got tired of the mess and decided to fix it. Optima is one place where your tasks, habits and goals finally live together. Keyboard-first, fast, and a one-time purchase. No subscription, no catch.

It's built by one person — me — which means if something feels off, or you want a feature, your message reaches me directly, not a support queue. If this does well, I'll be building out mobile and an AI assistant next. Thank you for the support.
